While I will not say that this is a specific kind of haunt, I will say that the movement of objects is not that uncommon and an intelligent haunt is probably involved. I agree with the General that usually I would attribute missing money or objects to a living person, perhaps with a sleeping disorder, I will not say that definately. Has your mom every had a sleep study done? Feeling paralyzed or that someone is pressing down on you while you sleep can be attributed to "old hag syndrome" which is a neurological disorder, and not paranormal, although it feels very paranormal to the person. Especially if you already have a haunted house and are on your toes at all times, sleep can be affected and you may do things out of deprivation. It is just a suggestion to try.
